Sven Peters from Fontys Hogeschool Economie in Venlo (Netherlands) says that WSB-NLU is a modern school with excellent curricula. He chose this school mainly due to its cooperation with National-Louis University and the fact that he can study in English. He came to Poland because he wants to learn its interesting history, culture and growing opportunities that have appeared once Poland joined the EU.
The remaining people out of the group of twenty-one students who have come to study to Nowy Sącz on February 17, 2006, followed similar criteria when choosing WSB-NLU. These students, representing Portugal, Italy, Germany, France, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, Hungary, Turkey and the Czech Republic are going to spend the whole semester here studying under the Socrates-Erasmus Program.
It has become a tradition that the first weekend of their stay, foreign exchange students who come to WSB-NLU spend in Stróże. This year, frolicking in the snow and sleigh-ride followed by sampling local delicacies such as żurek and excellent mead warmed everyone, including the Portuguese who are not used to winter.
Enjoy your spring semester!
