The quality of teaching and a market value of the degrees were the factors assessed in this category.
In the category: “Where to study computer science” the curriculum of the Computer Science program offered by WSB-NLU placed tenth among all the Polish universities and third among non-state schools. The MBA program came seventh.
The ranking of non-state schools took under consideration the value of the schools’ intellectual assets, including the mode of study at departments and programs, faculty achievements, quality of research. Other elements that were evaluated include the teaching process (quality of curricula, faculty’s teaching skills, computer and library facilities, verification of knowledge, foreign languages) as well as demand for alumni in the labor market, alumni’s assessment by employers, career paths. Additional points were also added for creating conditions for career development (the quality of the material base, cost of studying, scholarship and awards system and sports and entertainment facilities).
