Joanna Ochnik and Paulina Długosz are going to spend this year's vacation doing the internship organized by the Rotary Club under the project of IBSTAR (International Business Students Training in America through Rotary).

Joanna and Paulina were selected from among 40 people applying to this program. Apart from them, only two more people from Poland are going to leave for the US for the practical training with the Rotary this year. 'You needed to complete successfully several stages of the recruitment process. At first, we had to fill out the application form, obtain 2 -3 letters of recommendation from our professors and write esays in English,' says Joanna Ochnik. The interview with the representatives of the Rotary Club was the next stage. The final selection was made by the American companies offering the practical training.

The program enables the students not only to obtain practical skills in the field of the firm's activity but also to learn about the American culture. 'We are going to stay with American families thanks to which we will be able to get to know about the American's lifestyles from first hand,' adds Joanna.

The training is organized in summer and lasts 9-10 weeks.
