On April 9, 2002, a ranking of non-state institutions of higher education was published by Perspektywy monthly and Rzeczpospolita. WSB-NLU came second losing only to L. Koźminski Wyższa Szkoła Przedsiębiorczości I Zarządzania from Warsaw. It should be noted that the first three positions went to the institutions that had established the Consortium of Non-State Colleges in May 2001.
The Nowy Sącz School proved its strong position among non-state colleges. As it had happened before in other rankings, WSB-NLU graduates received very high opinions from employers. The school’s facilities, library, electronic reading room and multicultural character of this academic community were recognized by the jury of the ranking. Moreover, WSB-NLU came first before the leader of the ranking in the area related to opportunities for development of curricular and extra-curricular students’ interests.
