WSB- NLU is not an ordinary institution of higher education that is similar to thousands of other schools located all over the world. This is a unique University that has become an epitome of the Polish transformation of the political and economic system after 1989, which is best proved by the Pro Publico Bono award, which recognized WSB-NLU as the most valuable initiative of the decade starting from 1989 to 1999.

WSB-NLU is a school that, during its formation, managed to combine the Polish entrepreneurial spirit  and civic initiative with the professionalism of an American private university and the experience and innovation of the Swedish experts.

WSB-NLU is a school whose most important mission is to offer its students the highest quality of education. All the other elements, namely research activities, faculty development and community relations are subordinated to the main goal – offering unique and professional program curricula as well as team and individual work with students.
