The sixth ranking of institutions of higher education prepared by a weekly Polityka again positive for WSB-NLU.  

Our school came third among non-state institutions in the category: Economy – Management. WSB-NLU received very high scores (as much as 61 pts) for its pro-student attitude. According to the ranking’s authors, this criterion reflects  how the school meets students’ needs, expectations and rights. The pro-student attitude consists of 9 indicators:  range and forms of individual programs, number of dydactic publications, ratio of full-time students to the total number of students, number of hours devoted to diploma and masters seminars, range and consistency of students evaluations of classes, forms and range of financial aid available to students, extra-curricular activities offered to students, teaching materials published in the Internet and the scope of foreign language instruction.

WSB-NLU was also recognized for its contacts with the environment (59 pts), which reflects the school’s openness and readiness to cooperate with foreign schools in a variety of forms. The contacts with the environment  criterion consists of 12 indicators: a ratio of lecturers going abroad to the total number of lecturers, number of students going abroad to the total number of full-time students, number of visiting professors and foreign students to the total number of lecturers and a number of programs offered in foreign languages.

In the category: Computer Science WSB-NLU placed 32  among all schools; however, taking into consideration non-state school only, WSB-NLU program came fourth.
