WSB-NLU came fifth in the ranking of private business schools compiled by Home &Market magazine. In comparison to the last year ranking, we have gone up by six places. According to this ranking, WSB-NLU is the best school of business in the Malopolska region.

Home&Market assessed schools of higher education according to the following criteria: the quality of education, students’ development prospects, school’s facilities, new programs and post-graduate offer, assessment of faculty. The total number of points scored by WSB-NLU in all these categories was the same as the scores of the five other schools that placed on the third, fourth and fifth places. Our fifth place was attributed to the note for the faculty given by the students. We missed the third position by only two points and the first by 15 points. If the school offered a Ph.D. program, we would have been the unquestionable winner. It is debatable if the fact that a school offers a Ph.D. program has any impact on the quality of education, in particular, when WSB-NLU has a very favorable ration of the number of students to the number of faculty with a degree of Ph.D. and higher, the fact that seems much more vital for the process of education. At WSB-NLU, the ratio of the faculty members to the students is 1:6, whereas in other schools this number often reaches 1:30.
