GETTING TO NOWY SACZ
By plane
The international airport nearest to Nowy Sacz is located in Cracow. There is a public shuttle bus for passengers to take them from the airport to the city centre where you can board a train or a coach to Nowy Sacz.
By car
Nowy Sacz is located approximately 100 km south from Kraków (Cracow). Just follow the road No 4 from Kraków in the direction of Brzesko and Tarnow and then, in Brzesko drive in the direction of Nowy Sacz and Krynica. The trip should take maximum 2 hours.
By train
From Krakow, take any train bound for Nowy Sącz and Krynica. The Train journey takes from 3.5 to 5 hours depending on the type of train. It is so because the train route has to circle a few mountain ranges.
By coach
The most convenient and fastest way to travel from Krakow to Nowy Sacz, especially for those who do not have a car. Buses bound for Nowy Sącz leave every hour starting at 6 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Tickets are inexpensive (PLN 10) and the journey takes 2 hours.
