Legalization of stay in Poland

1. Upon arrival in Poland, an international student should immediately report to the WSB-NLU International Student Office, to complete all formalities related to the legalisation of his/her stay on the Polish territory, over the period of study.


2. In accordance with the Foreigner Act, a foreigner must submit the following:

    a. 5 passport photographs (EU citizens: 2 photographs) sized 4,5 cm x 3,5 cm, that must show the head from its left half-profile with the left ear fully visible.

    b. Passport photocopy (original must be presented for confirmation).

    c. Proof of residency registration (photocopy; original must be presented for confirmation).

    d. Certificate from the School (the Registrar issues such certificates: that the applicant is in fact a student at WSB-NLU).

    e. Birth certificate photocopy, with its translation into Polish by a certified translator (original must be presented for confirmation).

    f. Bank certificate (regarding an account opened in Poland) about financial resources held by the applicant that are adequate to cover the stay in Poland.

    g. Medical insurance

    h. Certificate of representation for the WSB-NLU representative to deal with all issues related to the residency process at the Voivodship Office
