All the necessary services are available to the WSB-NLU students both on-campus and in the city. We want you to feel like living at home.
That is why we make efforts to create a friendly atmospfere in and outside the school.
At the moment, WSB-NLU has three dormitories with a total of 560 places in single and double rooms. All student hostels represent high living standards accompanied by the following services:
- direct connection to the Internet through the WSB-NLU computer network,
- telephone
- cable TV network.
Each dormitory has its own convenient laundry room furnished with automatic washing machines and dryers. Dorms are located in close proximity to the School's campus, from a 0.5 to 1.5 km distance from the School and offer a number of outdoor and underground parking spaces.
In the academic year 2005/2006 students pay for a room in a dormitory from 350 up to 500 PLN per tenant. Individual rent charges depend on provided standards in a rented room or apartment, as well as its size, number of room-mates, availability of separate bathroom and kitchen or outside balcony.
Rooms in all dormitories are assigned to particular candidates by a special Committee appointed by the Rector of WSB-NLU. The date of a student's admission to the WSB-NLU programs is crucial in application processing procedures. Preference in granting accommodation is given to the freshmen. The medical condition of a student and the distanceto his/her hometown will also be taken into account whilst processing the applications for accommodation.
