The Admission Committee makes a decision on admission upon reviewing all documents submitted by the candidate. A prospective candidate is required to have:
- at least the equivalent of a Bachelor’s (licencjat) degree and should demonstrate his/her knowledge of computer science and mathematics to the degree they are covered by the WSB-NLU curriculum for the program in Computer Science.
- the GPA from all the subjects that are prerequisites to the program should be 3.5 (or greater) on a scale of 2.0-5.0. These subjects include all obligatory computer science subjects in the second and third year of the WSB-NLU Computer Science program (the program can be found on the web page of WSB-NLU).
- candidates are required to be proficient in English, which must be demonstrated by a score of at least 550 points on the hard copy-based version of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or 213 points on the computer-based version of the TOEFL. In exceptional cases, candidates may submit documents certifying their TOEFL score at a later date; however, these documents must be submitted no later than six months after the program commences. Failure to meet this requirement may result in DePaul’s refusal to issue a diploma. WSB-NLU graduates who have the BA diploma issued by National-Louis University are exempted from submitting the TOEFL certificate.
