Maciej Ślusarek, Ph.D. Holder of MSc in Mathematics at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, POland and Ph.D. in computer Science at University of Warsaw. He specializes in algorithmics and complexity of computation. Especially he is interested in combinatorial problems, efficient graph algorithms and geometry, and approximation strategies for computationally hard problems and on-line algorithms. Worked as a visiting professor at University of Kentucky, Lexington, USA. Served scientifical trainings at Technical University in Athens and at Telecomunication Institute in Evry, France.
Currently holds a possition of lecturer both at Wyzsza Szkola Biznesu in Nowy Sacz and at Institute of Computer Science at Jagiellonioan University.
Wit Forys, Ph.D. Graduated from the Jagiellonian University, in mathematics. PhD in Computer Science received from AGH University of Technology, and habilitation from the Jagiellonian. His scientific interests focus on combinatorial theory of semigroups, automata, and formal languages, and cryptography. He made long term visits to the universities of Turku (Finland), Paris VI, Erlangen (Germany). Invited speaker at many international conferences and research institutes - in Italy, Germany, and France among others. He was also a lecturer for a M.Sc. in Computer Science program for the University of Illinois at Chicago and IT instructor working for Motorola Poland and Telekomunikacja Polska SA. |
