Paweł Młodkowski, Ph.D.

Associate Professor, Department of Economics, WSB-NLU.
Holder of a PhD in “Optimal Capital Structures in the Global Economy” from the Jagiellonian University, Krakow, Poland. Awarded the title as one of the youngest in Poland.
Cooperates with the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, researching fiscal convergence. European Commission Expert, works as an Independent Evaluator for the European Union. Completed a stint as a macroeconomics counselor for the Prime Minister of Poland.
Author of 23 publications in International Economics, Macroeconomics and Finance.

WSB-NLU lecturer in: International Economics, Advanced Macroeconomics, Advanced Microeconomics, International Accounting, Financial Accounting.


Blair Kolasa, Ph.D. J.D.
Pro-Rector, Professor, WSB-NLU.
Holder of Ph.D. from University of Pittsburgh and J.D from School of Law, Duquesne University. Awarded Doctorate Honoris Causa from Warsaw University.
Author of 6 books and 20 articles.
Distinguished Visiting Scholar at University of Warsaw, University of Istanbul, Jianghan University, PRC. Ford Foundation Fellow at University of California, Berkley, Harvard Business School. Member of the American Psychological Association, Academy of Management, Board of Directors of American Business Law Association, Pennsylvania Bar (retired).
Served on the President’s Commission on White House Fellows, member of the US delegation to the Organisation of Security and Cooperation in Europe.
Director of a bank and a corporation, and served as a consultant in the USA and Europe.

Piotr Kobak, Ph.D.
Professor, Department of Finance, WSB-NLU.
Holder of a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Oxford University.
ESPRC Research fellow, United Kingdom. Awarded a KBN research grant in Differential Geometry.
Consultant to SPDC, Nigeria. Author of articles in mathematics/geometry and financial mathematics.

WSB-NLU lecturer in: Corporate Finance, Computer Science, Derivative Securities, Financial Engineering.


Milowit Kuninski, Ph.D.
Professor, College of Political Science, WSB-NLU.
Holder of Ph.D in Philosophy “Thinking with Models in Max Weber's Sociology” from Jagiellonian University. Habilitation: “Knowledge, Ethics and Politics in F.A. von Hayek's Thought”.
Member of the Polish Philosophical Society. Specializes in political philosophy and history of modern (17th and 18th c. ) philosophy.
President of the Centre for Political Thought in Cracow (www.omp.org.pl).
Member of the editorial board of “Civitas. Studia z filozofii polityki” (Civitas. Studies in Philosophy of Politics) and a newly founded Internet Philosophical Journal “Diametros”

Jacek Lipiec, Ph.D.
Associate Professor, Department of management, WSB-NLU.
Holder of a Ph.D. in Economics in “Motivation function of the sales force”.
Completed courses in École Supérieure de Commerce, France ; Yale University, Neumann management Institute ; University of Barcelona.
Awarded the grant for young scholars for contribution to Polish science, from the Foundation for Polish Science in 1999 in the field of management.
Research interests inlcude : management and family-based businesses.
Currently developing the WSB-NLU Masters programme in Management and Family Business.

Marcin Duszynski, BA. M.Sc.
Lecturer, Department of Economics, WSB-NLU.
PhD Researcher, United Kingdom: “Governance and the Evolution of the Polish Business System 1989-2004”.
Programme Director for “Management & Marketing in English”
Research interests include: culture and business, economic psychology, aerospace and defence, management in game design, management of Internet companies, and management in higher education.
