Entry conditions:

Students embark on the academic programme when they are already proficient in English (according to the WSB-NLU scale, language knowledge on level 5, i.e. completed EFL5).

Upon their arrival at WSB-NLU, students undergo an exam that tests their English skills. In the case of students who do  not have appropriate (required) English skills, they are required to undertake the Preparatory Year, which will help in acquiring any missing language skills.

Entry onto the academic programmes without an English exam is possible for candidates who possess on of the following: 

- TOEFL paper-test score of 550;
- TOEFL computer-test score of 213;
- 6 on the IELTS scale;
- Cambridge FCE, grade A;
- Cambridge CAE,
- CPE, grade C.

Candidates that wish to enter the programme but do not have appropriate English language skills, have the option of improving their language competency by participating in the WSB-NLU Preparatory Year


Academic requirements:

Entry into the programme is open to students who have completed an undergraduate programme in:
     
-          Management;
     
-          Management & Marketing;
     
-          Economics;

Other degrees will be accepted upon analysis of transcripts, subject to fulfilment of Ministerial requirements.


Required documentation for Non-EU candidates wishing to enter the undergraduate programme:

a. 4 passport photographs.

b. Application: both in electronic format (available in the RECRUITMENT section at the top of the page) and in physical format (printed) with the candidate’s signature.

c. Original undergraduate diploma: together with its translation into Polish, made in the Polish Consulate or other diplomatic representative. In the case of translations done on Polish territory, they have to be done by certified Polish translators.

d. Additionally,
each diploma that undergoes a later certification of legality („nostrification”) must possess two stamps from the Polish Consulate: a stamp (or separate certificate), that the presented diploma is authentic and a statement that the diploma is an original (in accordance with the Decree of the Polish Minister of Education from 10th August 2004, regarding the nostrification of higher education diplomas acquired abroad).

e. Nostrification (certification) of undergraduate diploma: The nostrification is undertaken by the Faculty Council of a higher education institution that has the right to award Doctorates from the appropriate area of science which covers the offered programme of studies or art programme, whose completion is proven by a diploma awarded abroad. The applicant for nostrification of a diploma awarded abroad, submits to the chosen Faculty Council an application with the following documents:
- Original diploma acquired abroad;
- Copy of school diploma, high school diploma or undergraduate diploma that was the basis of acceptance onto the programme abroad, which resulted in the awarding of the diploma which is being nostrificated;
- CV in Polish;
- Statement, that the diploma acquired abroad has not been the subject of a nostrification process in any Polish higher education institution.
Additionally, the candidate might be asked to present:
- Documents outlining the conduct of studies, especially transcripts, diploma supplements or the thesis that completed the programme;
- Translation into Polish of the abovementioned documents, made in the Polish Consulate or other diplomatic representative. In the case of translations done on Polish territory, they have to be done by certified Polish translators.

f. Insurance:
The rules regulating the entry of foreigners onto Polish territory (Border Security Agency) and of the legalisation of foreigner stay in Poland (Voivodship Office), state that a foreigner must possess adequate funds to cover any medical stay during their stay in Poland. Students are advised to purchase such insurance in their home country. The insurance policy must be translated into Polish by a certified translator. EU citizens are required to hold an up-to-date E 111 form, issued in their home country or the European Insurance Card

g. Medical certificate: stating the lack of any preconditions that might prevent a candidate from undertaking the given study programme. The certificate must be written out only on acceptable Polish forms.

h. Photocopy of proof of payment: of the registration fee and the tuition fee for the first year.
