Student is obliged to pay the fee of about 400 British pounds for British degree of “Masters in Global Business Management” from a UK university
- Payments are payable until the tenth day of each month for the given month. After this date,
Tuition fees cover full enrollment in the program, use of electronic and traditional library, Internet access and students’ own email accounts. The fees do not cover such additional services as repeating the course, repeating undergraduate or masters seminars, textbooks and scripts.
The tuition fees can be paid in a lump sum for the whole academic year and are payable within the first two weeks of the academic year or they can be divided into monthly installments:
- Full-time students pay tuition for nine months of the year (October-June)
penalty interest of 0.08% for each day of delay will be added.
The student who, due to some important reasons, cannot make the tuition payment on time may apply to have the payment deferred. In such cases, written applications to WSB-NLU Bursar need to be submitted in the Bursar’s Office - Room 510 (building A) before the payment is due. Such application should state the proposed date when the liability will be paid back.
The student who wants to change the type of the program or its mode, is obligated to make a manipulation fee payment of PLN 400.
Absence from classes and lectures when one enjoys full student’s rights does not exempt him/her from making regular tuition payments. Such exemption is possible only in the following cases:
- upon submitting a written withdrawal from the program;
- upon being officially excluded from the list of students;
- upon being granted a Dean’s leave or an official break in the study process.
The tuition payments are due until the day before one loses student’s rights or such rights are suspended. When settling accounts with the School on the basis of the clearance slip a former student is obligated to pay all amounts due to the School.
All issues related to tuition payments are regulated by the Bursar/ Dean. These persons are also responsible for instigating sanctions against students who fail to meet their financial commitments to the School (such as charging penalty interest on past due payments or even officially excluding from the list of students). In such cases appeals are addressed to the Vice Rector for Didactics.
All payments and financial commitments can be made at the WSB-NLU Cash Office (Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.) or transferred directly to the account of Wyższa Szkoła Biznesu- NLU in Nowy Sącz, ul. Zielona 27:
BPH S.A. O/Nowy Sącz 77 1060 0076 0000 3200 0020 5541
Detailed regulations are presented each year in the Rector’s Order concerning tuition fees and other payments related to the study process.
REDUCTIONS:
In response to a written application to the Bursar, submitted via the Dean’s office, the following students are eligible for reductions in the tuition fees:
- Students of full-time programs (undergraduate and masters) whose sibling is also a WSB-NLU student of a full-time program. The rule here is that the first person pays full tuition fees and his/her sibling is eligible to 20% reduction in tuition fees. In case when one of these persons is granted Dean’s leave or suspends the study or needs to repeat the year, the reduction is suspended or not granted at all. The reduction once granted may be withheld for the same reasons;
- Children of WSB-NLU graduates are eligible for a 10% reduction in tuition fees. The reduction applies only to students of full-time programs;
Applications for the reduction in tuition fees are to be submitted in the Dean’s Office until November 30 of a given year.
INSURANCE:
All full-time students are obligated to have an insurance covering the whole academic year.
Students may have their own individual insurance (in such case they need to present their insurance policy in the Dean’s Office) or they may buy a policy using the offer available at the School. All formalities connected with such insurance are dealt with during the registration to the first semester of the academic year. Insurance premiums are due on October 30 of a given year.
